Debbie Young is an accomplished dog breeder and professional groomer who has 40 years of experience caring for animals. She is the owner and chief executive officer of FernRidge Labradoodles, based in the Eugene, Oregon, area.

Ms. Young has always had an interest in dogs and other animals. She studied veterinary medicine for four years before becoming a professional groomer and now a breeder. She is also an obedience instructor and a member of the Professional Handlers Association.

Ms. Young first discovered the enchanting personalities of labradoodles while traveling the country in an RV. She was so impressed by their friendliness and energy that she decided to start breeding and raising them herself. Today her labradoodles are carefully bred from experience to ensure sound temperaments, health and allergy-friendly non-shedding coats. She lovingly raises the puppies in her house and tests her dogs yearly for a wide array of potential problems.

Ms. Young is certified as a master groomer and is affiliated with the Australian Labradoodle Association of America and the Australian Labradoodle Club of America.

In her free time, Ms. Young enjoys traveling.
